Clacton-on-sea has beautiful sandy beaches and the sea is a safe place to bathe and swim. Not to mention the iconic Victorian pleasure pier with undercover amusements and a fun fair.

For guests visiting in August, be sure to check out the Clacton Air Show which in previous years has included the world famous Red Arrows, Harrier, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Wingwalkers, as well as other spectacular craft.
With a bustling major factory outlet shopping village and various sports including water sports and golf, their is plenty of activities for all the family to enjoy.
From Claton-on-sea railway station you can catch a direct train to London (just 1 hour away). Other places to visit include the towns of Colchester and Chelmsford.
